How far have you gone to do your DD on a stock?
Obviously can’t disclose the company name due to privacy reasons. Like the question says,how FAR not how LONG. I’ll give you my example. So there was this micro cap company I invested in a few years ago. I obviously did all the usual stuff,reading last 4 con calls,balance sheet,the industry growth itself, etc etc all that boring stuff. But then since it was a micro cap,I decided to google the company’s factory/office. Since it was a small listed company it barely had any reviews,but it had a high rating. Opened to read the reviews,saw a person rate the company 5 stars,who shared the last name of the company’s MD/chairman/CEO. Decided to go on LinkedIn to investigate more,found out that it indeed was the chairman’s daughter. In addition to being rich and well educated,the daughter was around my age (early 20s) . So I did what any normal person would do! Went on Instagram to search her profile. Took me 2 seconds to find her profile. Sent her a DM and my resume and that I wanted to check
